MY DAZE

While driving to the grocery store, I turned the radio to the station that plays all carols all of the time. It is December 1st, after all. We are trying our best to get in the holiday spirit! After listening to Silver Bells, Winter Wonderland, and a really unique rendition of some type of Jamaican holiday hit, the sound of dogs barking Jingle Bells came over the airways. Any year before this (and I'm sure any year after this) I am GREATLY annoyed with this "song". Yet, I couldn't help but laugh out loud when I realized that this is the one holiday tune that the little man in the back seat knows all the words to and he is more than happy to sing along. In fact, as I looked up a link to include in this blog, a big smile came to the toddler once again as he merrily began barking along.
