The Vegetables Of My Labor

In my last post I said goodbye to my old home. Since then I have been completely exhausted and dragging ass working very hard and getting everything in order. One of my biggest chores during this stressful time was creating an entire garden and several flower beds surrounding my new house. I have now successfully turned most of the dandelions into grass and have decorated the concrete with an array of potted plants. However, I must say that moving mid-July and surrounding oneself in lush veggies from the garden and an array of colorful flowers can prove very stressful, mundane, and just plain stupid fulfilling and exciting.

I have had a very gratifying week as I have been enjoying salads with fresh lettuce from my garden almost every day lately. It has been so rewarding to know that all of thisbitching and whining hard work has finally paid off. I am glad to see the lettuce and thrilled that it's not bitter and awful as I am highly doubtful that I will get rewarded with corn, pumpkins, peas, tomatoes, and everything else that I planted so late in the season.

...and just for fun...a picture ofmy big butt and tummy rolls me relishing the vegetables of my labor.
