Happy New Year

I will probably be asleep by midnight. I am spending the evening having many conversations with my toddler and listening to Harry Potter books on CD. He is currently singing me, "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and we recently finished reading 3 or 4 books.
I know it's hard to top this, but how are you celebrating?

By the way, you won't believe how thrilled he is that Mickey, while on his journey through the night kitchen, spends as much time as him naked.

We went to a baby New Year party and were home before 9:30. I nursed the Infanta through all the fireworks and gunshots at midnight (she happened to want to at that moment).
In The Night Kitchen is definitely in my top three children's books of all time. It's spooky (kid gets cooked by little fat men) and has lots of cooking stuff, and the kid is a smartass and yeah, naked so therefore it's a banned book. Simply the best. Happy New Year!
